Katie Basile
Katie Basile is a coastal resilience specialist based in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, where she was raised and has lived most of her life. With a background in photojournalism, documentary filmmaking, and community-engaged storytelling, Katie produces stories and facilitates media workshops to build coastal resilience. She collaborates with communities to understand and communicate mitigation strategies for coastal erosion, permafrost thaw and flooding.
