Sen. Lisa Murkowski recognizes Sea Grant’s work in speech to Alaska Legislature
In her address to Alaska lawmakers on Tuesday, Feb. 19, Sen. Lisa Murkowski introduced her staff, including 2018 NOAA Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship recipient Ann Robertson. Ann is from Juneau and recently completed her Masters of Environmental Management at Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, where she focused on fisheries, marine policy and Arctic issues.
“She is my fish expert on everything that relates to our fisheries, maritime ocean advisor and has done a great job. She came to us from the Sea Grant Program, which I have learned is extraordinarily beneficial, and we’re reaping those benefits,” the senator said.
Thanks for your support of our program, Sen. Murkowski. It means a lot to us and those who live and work in coastal Alaska!
