Join us for an informational webinar and Q&A to learn more about career development opportunities in marine policy and science.

The Alaska Sea Grant State Fellowship and Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship provide 12-month professional opportunities for soon-to-graduate or recently finished graduate students interested in marine resource science and policy. Join us for an information session with Alaska Sea Grant Associate Director Molly Cain and current fellows to learn more about their experiences and how to apply for these opportunities.

Alaska Sea Grant State Fellows work in Alaska with Alaska-based organizations or agencies on a wide variety of coastal and marine science, policy, and management issues. Current fellow Jake Cohen will share his experiences working with Alaska Sea Grant and the Kodiak Area Native Association.

Knauss Fellows spend a year in Washington, D.C., working with hosts in the executive or legislative branches of federal government on substantive national policy issues related to aquatic resources. Current fellow Lindsey Stadler will share her experiences working in the NOAA Fisheries Office of Protected Resources.

The webinar will include an overview of both programs as well as a conversation to answer questions from prospective applicants.
